The challenge
Charge Point wanted to bring high-power DC charging to Hat Yai, serving both private EV drivers and the taxis and ride-hailing cars that work the area around the clock. A single connector type wouldn't cut it — some vehicles needed maximum charging speed, while the site still needed enough total connectors to keep multiple cars charging at once without long queues.
The solution
OneCharge installed a BENY 600kW split-type DC charger with 8 connectors. Two connectors use liquid-cooled cables and support Boost mode up to 800A for the fastest possible charge, while the remaining six run at up to 300A — enough capacity to keep the full lineup of bays busy at once. Every session runs on the OneCharge platform, with real-time monitoring and automatic billing for both public and member pricing.
The station operates 24/7 under the Charge Point brand, with OneCharge managing the platform behind it — from station monitoring to driver payments. Multiple charging bays let cars, taxis, and ride-hailing vehicles charge side by side, with clear bay numbering and covered parking for a comfortable wait.
